I have made a small script to remove Chinese kingruser, all related files and folders, and install SuperSU.
This script will do all the work for you without using PC, just by terminal, first of all, thanks to chainfire for his SuperSU files.
Before starting :
- Download and install Terminal emulator app
- Download and unzip "Replace_Kingroot_With_SuperSU.zip" file
- Send the extracted folder "mrw" to the internal storage of your device and make sure that this folder contains 4 files
- Open Terminal emulator and type :
Su
- Allow root permission
- Type :
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
- It might display some error, at the end it will launch supersu or open supersu manually.
- Update su binary normal, then reboot.
YT video link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6IgvVRt3ak
Notes :- The extracted folder must be in /Phone/ or you will need to change cmd.
- This script must work for all devices waiting tester.
- You might need to update SuperSu after rebooting your device.
- Please let me know the model of your device, if it worked for you.
- Check this post also, How to Remove/Replace Chinese VRoot superuser with SuperSu
Thanks :) I had installed kingroot, did unroot and uninstall from the app, installed supersu from twrp and it always tried to update the su binary and failed. This script cleaned up all kingroot leftovers and solved my problem.
ReplyDeleteMy phone is a BQ Aquaris E6 (mediatek cpu, mtk6592)
thanks again
did not work on my sony Xperia m2 aqua
ReplyDeleteThis isn't working for me :(
ReplyDeleteI'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note PRO 12.2, Wifi version, (SM-P900) with 4.4.2 the last stock firmware.
I've tried a lot of methods but always the same:
Rooting with kingroot works great, then I use your script (see first screen attached with the terminal emulator running) and all seem to work. The supersu opens and I select "normal upgrade". Here is all fine (second screen). Then I reboot and when I open supersu always the same thing (third attached screen).
But the Chinese root works great even after reboot, why? Could you help me? Do you have any clue for me, please? :)
Thank you for all and sorry for my poor English.
it says that there is no supersu binary installed..
ReplyDeletewhat should i do about this??
Nice work bro thanks

ReplyDeleteNeeded to run the script twice. After the first time the script removes part of KingRoot, but SuperSu fails. Just restart and go to Apps, stop KingRoot and run the script again. SuperSu will work.

ReplyDeleteXperiaZR (C5502) Android 5.0.2 Llpp
Wow! Thank you! I've always been annoyed with KingUser root. These steps and files are about as straightforward as they get.
ReplyDeleteI had KR and it always set of my MBAM, saying it was a looder trojan (false positive, of course), and like a few others have mentioned, it wouldn't remove the KR upon installing the script, possibly from the latest KR update.
It gave the file errors you mentioned, then opened the SuperSU (Pro for me), and it asked me if I'd like it to attempt to uninstall KR for me, which it did!
Then it asked for a reboot, and I went back into SuperSU, updated, as it asked, then it asked for a "SuperUser Request" for BusyBox, which I granted.
Since then, PERFECT!
You're AWESOME!

ReplyDeleteIt successfully changed from kr to super su. I am using lenovo A6000
ReplyDeleteThank you very much, please update the mediafire link as it has a 40kB corrupted zip file instead of the tool.
ReplyDeleteWorked on Galaxy S3 NEO ( GT-I9300I) Android 4.4.4
ReplyDeleteThe Steps that worked for me are as follows:
1. Same steps untill SuperSu installed
2. When SuperSu launched itself (or you can launch it manually ) , it
asked to update SU Binary, Click Normal.
3. Wait until SuperSu says other user management app detected (in my
case) and will ask you to remove it. Click cancel ( very important ).
4. When you Click Cancel, it will say Binary updated Successfully. And
will ask you to Reboot or OK. Click OK ( very important ) and not to
Reboot.
5. Now SuperSu will open normally but KingUser app will still be present
( in my case).
6. Now go to Settings in SuperSu App and Go to Clean Up options and
there you will find an option to remove other User Managemnt apps, just
click the option and Boom SuperSu will remove it completely from your
System.
Hope this will work for someone else also.
2nd Method:
Just simply install SuperSu from Play Store and follow the above steps
from Number 2 onwards. (Confirm if it works for you)

ReplyDeleteFirst I rooted my mobile with Cf Auto Root and now with KingRoot but in both cases I encountered a strange problem now. Problem is with Miss Call number i.e my phone usually (not always) shows wrong number of miss calls. For example if I have 1 missed call it shows 2 or 3 on lock screen and notification panel but in call logs it shows exact number. This is very annoying, problem appears since I rooted my mobile. Hope you will help ....
Phone Info:

ReplyDeleteAnd do you download SuperSU before or after using this method?
Ok I opened the zip and it's in the file on the phone.
ReplyDeleteI entered the path like you showed in terminal emulator and it says : " not found"
What did I do wrong?
Please get back to me and thank you for your developing and trying to help us all. :)

ReplyDeleteStill the same. Not works in new ver.
ReplyDeleteWORKS great on Lenovo A3500F.
ReplyDeleteNot working in HTC DESIRE 310 it say failure.... :(
ReplyDeleteNot working because the superuser version is very old. It is solved by replacing in mrw folder Superuser.apk by the latest version of SuperSU (2.49).The new file must have the same name of the original (Superuser.apk)
ReplyDeletePerfect in a Infocus M2 4G!!
ReplyDeleteLenovo A606 rooted with iroot that installed kinguser 4.0.2 (app is in /system/app and is named superuser.apk). Tried old script, new script, it does not work. Supersu says that it found another superuser app and fails to remove. If I cancel and restart, kinguser took control again.
ReplyDeleteI will kill you
ReplyDeleteTry it becoming kingroot in user application
ReplyDeleteIt can be done backwards if u download Kinguser apk and rename it to Superuser.apk before placing it into mrw . At least on my DG450
ReplyDeleteThanks! Successfully replaced Kinguser with SuperSu. Check screenshots below:
ReplyDeleteAfter running the last command from terminal (sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh), you will get several dialogs that tell you KingUser has stopped, just press 'OK'. The new SuperSu installation will ask you whether you need to uninstall other super user apps that cause a conflict (read, KingUser). Allow it to uninstall KingUser then restart, and that's it!
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.sh
sh /sdcard/mrw/root.shNB: Just make sure you use the latest SuperSu (i.e. v2.49)
FUNCIONA!!! Its works!!! Lg L5 II

ReplyDeleteSm-n7505. (kitkat)
Do you think its gonna work for me
Sony Xperia Z Lollipop 5.0.2 no sim
ReplyDeleteI got various reboots (5 right after each other, 1 a few seconds after complete reboot, 1 about 2 min. after complete reboot).
Since than every time I start KingUser or Kingroot (none have been removed or SuperSU been installed) the device reboots.
After a reinstall (I did not remove it first) of KingRoot, I at least can use KingUser now, without it causing a reboot.
Starting KingRoot though, still causes an instant reboot.
I'll probably end up with a factory reset + restore of a backup and finally new rooting.
Sucks
Tx for the effort though ;-)
I deleted kinguser with root app uninstaller and the icon is still there and i cant do anything with root please help😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
ReplyDeleteOn Bluboo X550 working fine!
